We all can use a few helpful reminders when it comes to moving. Although millions of us have moved more than a few times in our lives, we've all experienced ups and downs throughout the moving process. Macho Mobile Storage has compiled a list of helpful reminders that could assist you during the moving process:

Have plenty of supplies

You can always use a few extra packing supplies. It's better to purchase too much than too little and make multiple trips back to the supply store. Be prepared with packing tape, boxes of various sizes, shrink wrap, moving blankets, markers, bubble wrap and newspaper.

Stay Organized

Correctly labeling and packing your boxes will help you locate items once you have moved into your new residence. It also makes unpacking easier if you have all the items that belong in a certain area of your home all together as opposed to being scattered throughout various boxes.

Protect your fragile items

Use newspaper or bubble wrap to protect your fragile items. Get a good jump start on packing these items long before your official moving date. Sometimes these items take the longest to pack due to the extra attention required.

Arrange for storage

As you begin to organize and dig through your belongings during the packing and moving process, you will surely encounter items you haven't used in a long time. Assuming these items still have a place in your life, place them aside as items to be stored. Allocate one or more of the Macho Mobile Storage containers for your storage items. The storage container(s) will be transported to our secure storage facility and the containers containing your everyday use items will be delivered to your new residence.
